Great Taste Fans,

Thank you for your continued patience and understanding as we make plans for the Great Taste of the Midwest in what has proved to be another challenging year.  With the ever-evolving health guidelines and restrictions, we have been working with a constantly moving target during recent months.

With the recently issued local guidelines, the restrictions for large gatherings will be removed.  This significant update will clear the way for us to host the Great Taste of the Midwest on August 14, 2021 at Olin-Turville Park.

Although the restrictions are being removed and it seems like life can return to normal, this health crisis is still evolving.  Vaccination rates across Wisconsin and the Midwest, an increasing number of variant strains and the unique challenges of this type of event still pose issues for running a beer festival.  As such, we have decided to limit capacity to 5000 people (50% of normal capacity) for this year’s event to reduce density in the park and to increase safety for all attendees.  We know that this change will affect many folks who are unable to attend, but we have confidence that this is the right decision to ensure everyone’s safety this year and the continued success of the festival in the future.

Ticket Sales Update:
ALL ticket sales will be through mail order starting on June 7, 2021.  We will use the traditional rules and process that we and our patrons are familiar with.  See the “Tickets” tab for more details.

We will continue to monitor the evolving situation and work with local health authorities in an effort to determine appropriate health measures as we proceed with planning this year’s festival.  You are the best beer fans around and we will continue to work tirelessly to ensure your comfort, safety and enjoyment at the festival.

Let’s all raise a glass at Olin-Turville Park for the Great Taste of the Midwest on August 14, 2021.
